Championing women in the industry with PCA 100 Women in Property

Championing women in the industry with PCA 100 Women in Property

We’re delighted that nine up and coming professionals within APP have been accepted into this year’s PCA 100 Women in Property where they and their sponsors will be championing women in the industry.

This year’s participants will get to experience personal and professional development opportunities and grow their professional networks. This year’s APP participants from across the country are:

  • Leah Bagnell-Clegg - Sponsored by Tony Mackay
  • Natali Boskovska – Sponsored by Kirk Bolte
  • Rebecca Brown – Sponsored by Crystal Gray
  • Julia Gentile – Sponsored by Paul Kirkwood
  • Jodi Gleeson – Sponsored by Kirk Bolte
  • Charlotte Hesketh – Sponsored by Andrew Hunter (CI Australia)
  • Camille Jasson – Sponsored by Pippa Stockfield
  • Claire Lynch – Sponsored by Stuart Bell
  • Justine MacDonald – Sponsored by Fiona Tellefson

The sponsors play an important role within the program and will act as an advocate for their selected mentee, helping them to build on their skillset, broaden their professional network and grow their professional profile.

One of our participants from the 2016 program, Lillian Hyland, Project Manager from South Australia found the program to be extremely valuable, stating:

“The 100 Women in Property program really helped broaden my network by meeting and interacting with other industry professionals that I wouldn’t necessarily have had the chance to meet. I also really enjoyed and benefitted from the relationship I formed with my sponsor, as I learned how to approach different situations and received valuable advice about my career path. The program also allowed me to build my professional profile and get more involved with the PCA, as I have since been appointed to the PCA’s Future Directions Committee”.

In its second year the 100 Women in Property sponsorship program has surpassed the PCA’s expectations, drawing interest from hundreds of women in the industry nationwide. Unsurprising, given the sponsorship program offers its participants plenty of resources and opportunities to advance their careers.

The program’s key goal is to champion women in the industry providing a platform for participants to network and develop new connections in the industry, as well as expand on their personal and professional development opportunities.

Congratulations to both APP participants and sponsors involved in this year’s program.
