The APP Group has today announced the appointment of Stephen Troughton to the role of Executive General Manager, Transport and Energy within its Major Projects business.
Stephen is a well-recognised and respected leader within the Australian and international infrastructure and construction sectors who brings a strong mix of project delivery, executive management, government and industry experience.
Stephen has spent the past two years as Major Projects Director at Transgrid and has held several senior executive roles in government including Deputy Secretary of infrastructure and services at Transport for NSW and Managing Director of Main Roads Western Australia.
His work has involved the delivery of Australia’s largest energy and transport infrastructure projects including the Energy Connect transmission line and Brisbane’s $5.2 billion Cross River Rail project.
