Queen Street & Lumeah Precincts

Reviving two well-loved precincts in the Greater Western Sydney.

Campbelltown is one of the cultural capitals of Greater Western Sydney, with Queen Street sitting at the heart of the city centre and Leumeah transitioning away from being a major industrial precinct. In 2020, Campbelltown City Council appointed The APP Group to prepare a Development Strategy and Bankable Feasibility report for both precincts, emphasising their independently unique qualities and urban design conditions.

The project team assembled precinct masterplans, and feasibility analysis of Council-led projects and provided advice from planning to execution. The Queen Street precinct will have improved cross-rail connectivity and become a high-density mixed-use development with residential apartments, retail, and commercial spaces with a vibrant nightlife.

Leumeah will transform into a vibrant sports and entertainment precinct for sporting activity with a state-of-the-art revamped stadium, and short-stay accommodation to leverage tourism and affordable residential housing. The Bow Bowing Creek is to be converted into a more naturalised link forming a connection between industrial business lands in the north and the local centre and stadium in the south.
