Improving workplace experience with contemporary fitout and ergonomic workstations.
The Queensland Building Construction Commission (QBCC) is the regulator for the building and construction industry that helps to ensure the maintenance of proper building standards and remedies for defective building work. They support the growing Queensland community to ensure sustainable social, environmental and economic outcomes for the state. QBCC’s regulatory purpose is to reduce risk in the building and construction industry, offer protection from harm, and encourage innovative industry responses to current and emerging challenges.
Like many companies globally, QBCC implemented a hybrid working model in Brisbane post COVID-19 and are now aiming to use this model in all regional offices, supporting employees to work in head office, regionally or remotely to suit the task at hand. QBCC’s “Our Future Fit Workplace program” aims to evaluate how the workplace is functioning and implement new workplace strategies to bring employees together.
The APP Group (APP) has been engaged by the QBCC to provide project management services to manage the design and construction of a new office fitout at their Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Rockhampton offices. Our team will also be providing risk management, and procurement management and ensure objectives are met on time and on budget.
The project aims to create a workplace standard that significantly improves the workplace environment with a modern contemporary design and layout, and ergonomic and functional workstations for employees. It will also provide a consistent employee and visitor experience across Queensland.
