University of Newcastle Central Coast Campus
Expanding access to tertiary education across the Central Coast with a new high-tech sustainable campus.
The University of Newcastle’s new Central Coast Campus at 305 Mann Street adds to the growing innovative hub of Gosford. The campus will improve access to tertiary education for people living on the Central Coast, provide students with a contemporary place to study and obtain in-demand skills.
Designed and built for a 6 Star Green Star ‘Design and As Built’ rating, the new building will be four levels high. The University of Newcastle is working closely with the First Nations Working Group on building and design features, artwork and language opportunities that will feature in the building.
The APP Group was appointed to provide project management and design management services. Our team will work closely with stakeholders to drive and coordinate all capital consultants, the Principal Contractor, and the User Group’s deliverables at each phase of the project. The campus is scheduled to open in 2025 and welcome up to 900 students.

The development of this campus will bolster Central Coast’s workforce with the campus creating up to 140 annual Full Time Equivalent jobs in each of the two years.
