The Road Roughness Testing Vehicle ensures road surface evenness meets the required technical specifications.

The APP Group’s Executive General Manager Transport, North Queensland, Luke St George, shared, “The APP Group is pleased to be investing into a dedicated certified Road Roughness Testing Vehicle supporting the need for assurance certification on important road infrastructure projects across regional Queensland. This is the first time a privately owned testing vehicle has been permanently located and available in Far North Queensland.”

The APP Group’s dedicated certified Road Roughness Testing Vehicle is based out of Townsville and is fitted with the following technology:

• High Speed Inertial Profiling System 
• Wide Beam Lasers 
• GPS Subsystem 
• Zero-Speed Option (No run up or maintaining constant speed)
