Delivering critical social housing in Melbourne.
The Harvest Square housing redevelopment site is located 6km north of Melbourne’s city centre and conveniently positioned near transport hubs, community services, and shopping precincts.
Together with Homes Victoria, this AVJennings-led development replaces 82 social homes with 169 new residences, including 119 state-of-the-art social homes and 50 market homes. Five per cent of the new units are accessible to people with a disability. In addition, Harvest Square provides eight community housing apartments specifically designed for women.
The development is comprised of a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, all of which have achieved 5-star Green Star and 7-star average NatHERS ratings.
The APP Group was appointed to provide Project Management and Superintendency services for the Harvest Square project. Our team provided support through the critical stages of the project including project set up, construction and handover.
Harvest Square also includes a community garden and an 18-metre-wide linear green spine running through the site delivering up to 3,000sqm of open space for residents and the wider community to enjoy.
