The Toyota WA Parts Distribution Centre in Kewdale represents a new era of logistics innovation, combining cutting-edge automation and strategic design to set a new standard for efficiency in Western Australian logistics. Spread over more than 20,000 sqm, this state-of-the-art facility, developed in partnership with Perron Group, is three times the size of its predecessor and is purpose-built to streamline the delivery of Toyota parts and accessories across the state.
Equipped with the latest in automated logistics technology, including Vanderlande’s ADAPTO AS/RS for high-density storage and retrieval, Toyota’s Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and a custom-designed conveyor system by Vanderlande and Innovative Precision Engineering (IPE), this facility embodies the future of industrial logistics. Behind the scenes, Toyota WA has worked closely with leading automation subcontractors to create a seamless ecosystem of bespoke software that integrates every automated component, delivering optimal workflow and productivity gains.
