Campus Living Villages – Griffith University Student Accommodation

Building a new and sustainable student accommodation for student residents at Griffith University.

Campus Living Villages (CLV) aspires to deliver affordable, contemporary and appealing accommodation that facilitates the implementation of their award-winning residential life program to nurture the health, wellbeing and social connections of student residents.

The project includes the design, development, and construction of a contemporary 11-storey Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) tower located within the existing concession of Griffith University Village. The tower will deliver 460 beds across a mix of single studio and shared two-bedroom occupancy units.

The APP Group has been engaged by CLV to provide project management services to manage the design and construction of the new PBSA tower. This project responds to the critical need for additional on-campus accommodation that is contemporary, has multiple amenities, and has a strong focus on sustainability, whilst providing value for money for Griffith University’s domestic and international student residents.

Our team are working closely with CLV’s lead consultant team to achieve a design that achieves both quality and is within budget. We are also involved in the early contractor phase, head contractor negotiations, finalising development design and contract award and providing superintendent services.

The tower has achieved a 5-star Wells and Greenstar Building Council rating for energy efficiency and renewable energy use. It will also increase the overall tuition number for Griffith University as it allows up to 1000 students to accommodate the campus villages.
