Wollondilly Cultural, Community and Civic Precinct Stage 2
Strengthening community and cultural facilities in a small vibrant town in South West Sydney.
The Wollondilly Cultural Precinct is a transformative project for the Wollondilly Shire community, providing contemporary multipurpose spaces that will support a range of cultural and civic activities. Council has resolved to build a new Government Services Building as part of the Precinct at Picton. The Precinct Master Plan is structured over four key stages with the Government Services Building to commence at stage 2, with intent to house Council staff to deliver a range of much needed new and improved services for the growing Wollondilly community.
The APP Group were engaged by Wollondilly Shire Council to provide project management services for the past 3 years from Concept Design through to Construction initiation, playing a significant part in the design formalisation and Contractor selection.
This administration facility will be four storeys high with a basement carpark for 80 vehicles and will host a significant commercial lettable area. Additionally, the ground floor will include a public space with a dedicated Council Customer Service workspace, public amenities, and flexible shared meeting space.
