Dairy Farmers is Australia’s largest processor of milk and dairy products, and supplies around 75% of the Sydney market as well as major centres throughout NSW. After many years of implementing their building projects by the design and construction delivery process, The APP Group approached Dairy Farmers to discuss an independent project management method.
Our first project commenced in 1992 – the redevelopment of their Head Office Plant at Lidcombe and it was awarded the Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Award.
This project included site master planning, a new head office administration building, a new 3600sqm cold store, fresh milk intake storage silos, upgrading of processing and materials handling packaging plant including electrics, PLC and CIP systems, new roads truck marshalling areas and car parks, and demolition of the old building for future expansion.
