Delivering critical housing to the Lower Hunter region.
The Kings Hill Urban Release Area is one of four priority areas aiming to deliver over 3,500 residential lots surrounding a new commercial and retail town centre. A key priority of the Kings Hill Development is to protect the local environment and deliver social and well-being benefits to locals and visitors.
The APP Group facilitated the agreements between government agencies to deliver local and regional infrastructure including grade separated interchange with the Pacific Highway, major collector roads, a public school, and significant trunk water and wastewater drainage. A 250-hectare Conservation Area will also be created to protect threatened animal species, including koalas, and incorporate passive recreation opportunities, such as horse, bike and bushwalking trails.
As the Project Manager, our team leads the multi-discipline consultant team preparing the detailed Master Plan and subdivision applications for the first stages of development. We are also continuously conducting extensive community and stakeholder engagement through the design and approvals phase. The first stage is targeted for construction in 2025 with the first house and land to be delivered in 2026.

This project continues to ensure it meets Ecological Sustainable Development principles aiming to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations. Historic Aboriginal use of the land and its cultural significance to the local Worimi People will be preserved to bring opportunities for education and cultural awareness, and a diverse offering of active and passive-based eco-tourism will add to the Port Stephens market encouraging visitation and providing health and wellbeing to the local community.
