Community Housing Innovation Fund
Supporting innovative funding models for social housing in NSW.
The Community Housing Innovation Fund (CHIF) was announced by the NSW Government in 2021 to support the growth of Community Housing Provider portfolios and support the diversity of these providers in NSW’s social housing system.
The $50m investment into grants over five years will boost the supply of social housing that relies on innovative funding, tenancy, property management and partnership strategies. The fund is part of significant reforms to social housing in NSW.
